WATCHER 2022 REVIEW - AFDAH INFO While cinema theorist Laura Mulvey is well recognized for her notion of the masculine eye, she employs another provocative phrase to explain her point in her writing: "see-see." It refers to the manner in which women, particularly those on television, have been purposefully intended to be objects of historically portrayed, sensual pleasure. "Watcher" follows Julia, who is suffering under the weight of her beauty, and is masterfully performed by former actress Mika Monroe. Not simply because he suspects a stalker is watching over his place.  WATCHER AFDAH In contrast to the films that attack Mulvey, Julia's attractiveness goes beyond charming spectators or capturing a male lead. FANTASTIC BEASTS THE SECRETS OF DUMBLEDORE 2022 REVIEW - AFDAH INFO In the very first scene of Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, screenwriters J.K. Rowling, and Steven Clover make "Dumbledore Gay" canonical in the Harry Potter universe. 142 Impossibly uninterrupted minutes away, this will prove to be the most fruitful narrative development of the film. After three films, this prequel series that no one really asked for and, as it turns out, no one really wanted it to go fast, resulting in high-stakes plots full of plot twists. Not racking, but also agreeing with the 2016 standards for small, magnificent animals and where to find them and 2018 disagrees.
