The American horror film - The Offering Afdah at the beginning had the working title "The Abyzou Conjuring". It was directed by director Oliver Park, who previously worked in film projects of a similar direction, Strange Phenomena and Scary Stories Told at Night. Rambo: Last Blood and Barracuda are co-written by Hank Hoffman and actor/producer Jonathan Junger. After the release of the first trailer, the film was dubbed "Hassidic horror".

At the center of the plot of the horror film The Proposal is a young woman Claire and her husband, who came to visit her husband’s father, whose family business is the Fenberg funeral agency. The old man is glad to see his son, because he is the son of a Hasid and the heir to their cause. There is a large community here and each member knows that at the end of his life he will get into this agency as a client. Claire is pregnant and this is all joyful for the future grandfather, but strange things happen in the community, people die every now and then, and their deaths do not look natural and easy.
The body of a man falls on the table of the funeral home and, according to the first signs, his death looks like suicide. On closer examination, the officers find a small knife near the body, on the handle of which strange symbols are carved, which are an ancient protective spell that locks the demon inside the body. A cord with a triangular blue stone hangs around the neck of the deceased, but as soon as the mortuary employee cuts the rope, the corpse’s cloudy eyes open, and the wind begins to walk around the premises, the light of the lamps flashes and the doors slam.
The Hasidic community has been struggling for centuries with the curse of Abizu, a demon that kidnaps children and inspires false feelings. And the main idea of this great villain is one goal - to bring the child to the altar. The demon craves the blood of a baby that feeds its existence, and then the victim itself came into his hands. Claire feels danger, but neither she nor her husband know that right below them, in the family morgue, inside a mysterious corpse, an ancient evil lurks with sinister plans for the unborn child.
