The Fabelmans Afdah. The plot of the biographical picture, based on memories of the childhood of the famous director of our time, Steven Spielberg, takes place in the state of Arizona. This is a story about a young film lover who dreams of conquering the Hollywood Hills someday. A boy named Sammy was born into an Orthodox Jewish family, which included mostly scientists. Accordingly, the relatives intended that their descendant move in the right direction, following the family tradition. Only Sammy, contrary to all expectations, has already decided on a personal choice for the future. He could easily follow the people around him for several hours, choosing the best angles for shooting, imagining himself as a director.
The beginnings of the young talent were supported by the mother, who was once destined to become his first viewer when he created his debut short film. As for the father, he believed that his son was engaged in nonsense and he needed to find himself a more practical occupation. Growing up, Sammy sometimes questioned his passion himself. Especially when school problems and falling in love were added to all the usual domestic ups and downs.
